FoMA has been busy working on the recent launch of the WOW Mobile!
The Wellness on Wheels (WOW) Mobile is staffed with board-certified veterinarians and veterinary technicians, as well as volunteers, to bring FREE veterinary care to vet deserts in Miami-Dade County. The goal of this initiative is to provide routine veterinary care to low-income families with pets. This includes physical exams, wellness vaccines and boosters, heartworm and fecal parasite screening, deworming, heartworm and flea/tick prevention, ear cleaning, nail trimming and referrals for spay/neuter surgery or other needed medical services if available.
