South Florida Seen for the week of Feb. 7

Friends of Miami Animals held its inaugural Be A Friend fundraiser Jan. 15 at the Surfside home of Brigitt Rok-Potamkin and Alan Potamkin. About 180 people attended the event, which raised nearly $200,000.
