Friends of Miami Animals Foundation is one of the leading nonprofit organizations working to improve animal welfare in Miami-Dade County. Whether it’s our efforts helping homeless animals by supporting our county and other shelters, or helping control pet overpopulation through various initiatives, FoMA stands out from the crowd. From funding the WOW Mobile to collaborating with The Underline and Promoting Animal Welfare Saturdays (PAWS), and sponsoring Operation Pit Stop to provide free sterilization, vaccination and microchipping for Miami Dade owned pets, our work makes a difference in the lives of homeless and at-risk pets and their families

With countless strays and an overwhelming number of animals in local shelters, our work is more important than ever. All of our efforts need support through funding, volunteering, and increasing awareness.
